How much time do the people that regularly place in the top 1% actually put in to MP ladders?

I don’t spend every waking minute grinding because I’m usually on my pc in my free time but it takes a lot of my time to grind for even top 5%. Just wondering how yall do it

The importance of positioning.

New poster here, I wanted to share this in hopes that someone might take something away from this. (My mic is a little bit too quiet so sorry about that)

This is a great example of playing the power position. Off to the bottom left of the wall in front of me is a solo Axle while there is a full 3-man on the wall directly in front. I decided to play the rock to my right since I had a Kraber and could angle the Fuze that was playing the rock down the hill from that spot. (I missed most of my kraber shots lol)

Notice how when I get Gibby ulted off the rock I use my tp to not only let my teammate play inside the dome while the ult is going off (which he ended up just moving back to the left anyways) but also to allow me to retake the position without having to cross in the open and waste my tac.

My teammate does crack the Gibby and do good damage but I was still a little too cautious of the Fuze since he was playing the right corner of the wall so I didn’t move up and decided to play off my kraber. Right as I get opening damage my Valk walks down to the wall in the open and gets knocked JUST as I get the crack so it delays our push.

After a quick reset im able to take a head glitch angle to the left of the trio and clean them up before killing the solo. (I know I literally just gave a play by play even tho there’s a video but I was just trying to explain the thought process a little bit)

I hope this help a little bit and please feel free to comment any thoughts
