I’ve had my second lobes pierced for literally about 6 years so you’d think I wouldn’t have any issues with them but for some reason my left one does not like it when I put a hoop in.

It almost feels like I can’t follow where the piercing should go and it usually ends up bleeding when I push the hoop through.

Got a bit fed up with this last night and shoved an old clicky nose ring into it, I’m hoping it should just heal around this and solve the issue but I know the concerns around keeping hooped jewellery in piercings that are healing.

Any ideas on what I should actually do?

My partner is currently going through the process of moving into a career as a police officer in Scotland and I’m just wondering if anyone currently in the police could give a bit of insight into the shift patterns and how this affects your relationship.

Do you get to see each other often? Do you find yourself bringing issues at work home with you? Any insight would be appreciated thanks just want a bit of a heads up for any issues we might face.
