Advice for hormonal acne and oily face?

Hey, y’all new to the group and happy to be here. I am getting some new acne and I believe it to be absolutely hormonal acne because I had to get off combined birth control pill and switched to progesterone only pill called slynd for health reasons.

For some background before I was taking birth control I had hormonal acne and very oily skin with a diagnosis of PCOS and hirsutism, alongside endocrine disorders, insulin resistance and prediabetes.

Anyways, since getting off of estrogen, birth control, my acne is starting to slowly come back and what I assume will be going into a moderate acne face I used to have and every day I get a new pimple or two as soon as I wake up.

I am looking for advice for over-the-counter products and I will show you a picture of what I have been using as of right now and writing it here, but I could really use people’s help when it comes to this.

Right now, I can say that I am not anywhere near close to what bad can actually look like, but I am trying to prevent if I possibly can!

Another detail, my acne is usually red bumps, and it takes days sometimes weeks for it to go away in regards to the redness.

I get acne specifically on my chin, my forehead, and a bit on my cheeks.

I pretty much use hydrocolloid patches every single day. Help a woman out! I can send pics of my acne if needed! Thanks!

Products used:

Cerave weightless moisturizer (3 times a week. I have to get better at it)

Cerave benzoyl peroxide cream 4% (3 times a week)

Cerave everyday cleanser for normal to oily skin (once a day)

Cerave acne control gel (once a day)

Hydrocolloid patches (once a day)

Cerave

Hey yall. Sending a picture of my ends of my hair and I feel like a dummy! I just got back from the salon she had to do a clarifying treatment on me and she asked if I wanted my ends chopped I said “no not right now.”

I didn’t even realize how scraggly it was till I asked my partner to take a picture of the back of my head for me! LOL

Anyways, I really don’t want to bother her, should I just cut it myself? I would feel like An absolute pain to ask. I have some “hair cutting” scissors but nothing fancy and I don’t want to risk it even more split ends.

It’s funny because my hair truly stops growing at a certain length and when I go past it it looks like this. Anyways thanks for the general advice if you’d do this at home.

I had to switch from combo low dose pill to slynd progesterone only due to a health condition where estrogen increases my tumors.. it’s been about 2 months and all of a sudden I’m getting THE WORST dizziness and different kind of dizziness I’ve ever felt.

I have vestibular migraines so I’m not new with vertigo and dizziness but this is specifically different. It is where I don’t have to move I’m so dizzy.

Anyways this is a general question despite what you’re using but what did you do for it did it ever go away? General answers and stories are welcomed 💜
