I used to play Splatoon but I quit a while ago. Kinda sad since I actually liked the first game but in the last few years I just haven't enjoyed it.

Sometimes I think "hey maybe I should give Splatoon another go, who knows maybe I'll have fun this time" but luckily this sub holds me back from making such a dumb mistake.

Being reminded of the dogshit gameplay, stupid lag, worthless cowardly little hackers, the cesspit that is the main sub (Marie fat fetish anyone?), salmon run sucking ass because teammates never know how to play, e-daters who date 12yo children on discord and sweaty fuckwads who squidbag after every kill... This sub is a godsend I swear

Not hating on Splatoon fans but I'd sooner eat raw shit out of a toilet than play this game again

Clips are cool. They're hard to get but they're rewarding and let you boast/show off your skill.

So why do I see so many lame players who REFUSE to go for clips and spam the same predictable trash over and over?

Take Krool for example, he can be hype but his players just spam crown/cannon shot like their lives depend on it... and it never even works. It's so easy to jump over or reflect but they go for the same boring option. I cannot for the life of me remember a single fun Krool match and every single one I fight feels like a waste of time

I just wanna have a fun match for once :(

(I should clarify I only play arenas, so them playing safe to keep their GSP doesn't apply here)

I don't comment/post much (this is my first post on reddit actually) but I thought this was worth posting

Made a free for all arena, had some pretty fun matches but got put into sudden death twice since my ruleset was 4stock/7mins

I change it to 10mins and out of nowhere this cloud (who was playing normally before) starts targeting me like I just killed his grandma. Chases me across the map, ignoring the other 2 players JUST to attack me and this went on for 2-3 rounds before I kicked him

Genuinely what drives someone to target the host over ADDING 3 MINUTES TO A FREE FOR ALL 😭
