Headcheese or liverwurst sandwiches
Never did the headcheese but a liverwurst sandwich was my favorite cheap meal.
Are there some cold cuts you used to eat but don't see around much anymore?

I recently went to a show at the Berkeley Playhouse and was incredibly impressed with the quality of performance and venue. My first time so it was a pleasant surprise.

So what other regional event centers would you recommend for quality, cost and value?
The popular answer is often Cocoon.

However, I remember watching Less Than Zero in the theater and tried to rewatch. It's not available to stream anywhere.

So what's your film that you wanted to watch but wasn't able to find streaming anywhere?

Edit - Hive mind for the win! Many of the films mentioned are available to stream on less standard platforms such as Tubi, archive.org, daily motion, etc.
For Gen Jonesers, having a high school job was almost a right of passage.
My first job was making pizzas at a Round Table restaurant. Highlight of the evening was getting a free meal when working over four hours. I'd make my own pizza and load the toppings.
I made $3.10 an hour and then got a raise to $3.35 an hour!
So what was your favorite high school job and how much did you make?
I'm researching a digital piano in slab form for for bringing to gigs.
I have a Yamaha S90es which sounds great but is a bear to transport as I've aged.
So what's your favorite digital piano for gigging out?
Seems like important features are lightweight, audio out to connect to amp,, good keybed, etc.
I feel like sound isn't as much a differentiator as it was 20 years ago. Most pianos have decent samples and sound quality nowadays (i.e. Roland, Yamaha, Kawai, etc).
First, not sure if this is a local term. I looked it up and mouth ulcers seen to fit the same description.
I used to have this issue 20-30 years ago. Super annoying and l lysine used to help in treatment.
Now, I rarely get them. Is this just me or is it now as much an issue as it was in the past?
I know it's not uncommon for a wired systen to have more than two speakers hooked up.
I have two boom 2 (tws) running in stereo and then a harman/kardon go+play 3 audio synced.
Pure audio bliss! Anyone else running multiple bluetooth speakers?
This podcast reflects on Both Sides Now by Joni Mitchell.
This song hits differently now than when I was a teenager.
I thought it was a trite campfire song.
Now I realize what a treasure the song is.
I've seen Both Sides Now. Good and bad, I wouldn't replace any of them.
How about you? Can you revisit the lyrics and interpret them in a different way than when you were young?
If you were only able to choose one which would it be?
I own the Soundcore Motion+, Boom 2 and x600 and they're all top notch sound and app support.
I own the Tribit Stormbox Micro and Micro 2. The Stormbox Blast, Blast 2, and Lava are also well respected speakers as well.
So if you could only stick with one, which would you choose? Who has the brightest future? Any other similar vendors you'd add to the mix?
One of the reasons why Soundcore Motion+ continues to be on the best sounding speaker list is due to it's driver array.
It has two tweeters, two woofers and a passive radiator.
So what other speakers have this arrangement or even more?
I've owned the Boom 2 for a few years and it's still one of my top recommendations (as well as Harmon Kardon Go+Play 3).
Well I finally found a good deal and purchased a second to pair them up.
Double the fun. This is a great outdoor patio speaker. Great bass and the stereo separation is a pleasure.
I like the directional speakers which allows me to listen to my music clearly but not blow out my neighbors.
I know I'm preaching to the choir but pick up a pair of these. I paid $150 for the two and highly recommend.
