Can anyone advise?

I left my employer approximately 4 years ago and the pot has since grown nicely. I am 37 years old.

I am considering switching into a SIPP as I'm not currently contributing towards a pension since being Self-Employed. I'd like to begin contributing again.

The things I am unsure of:

I believe I am still getting an employee discount on my pension as I worked for Standard Life (charges 1.153% - discount of 0.910% = 0.243% per year) - however, if I wanted to contribute towards this pension again I imagine any new contributions wouldn't receive this discount?

Would SIPPs have the same types of investments as what I am currently invested in? (See attached - 100% equities)

Is it worth doing?

Thanks!

Should I switch funds?

My pension is currently performing well, however I am fully aware this is in a high risk fund (100% global equity)

This is my only pension and I am concerned it could take a drastic turn with everything which is going on in the world.

I'm 37, so I'm not anywhere near retirement age but obviously want to plan for the future and do what I can to ensure I am comfortable in retirement.

Would it be worth moving some of the funds into a safer fund or should I keep it all where it is for now? It's grown by around 50% over the past few years without me contributing, so just feel as if it has to take a hit at some point 😂

Thanks!

Hi All, I've been booked in for a steroid injection this week for Bursitis in my shoulder. However, I was also prescribed Naproxen and my pain has disappeared. I've also started doing the exercises my PT gave me.

I'm considering cancelling the injection as I know there can be side effects etc. Just wondering if anyone else recovered from this with just PT and Naproxen?
