US State Laws?

I seem to have a naturally long gestation (past 42 weeks) and I live in a state where midwives will not deliver babies at home past 42 weeks. I had a horrible hospital induction experience with my first child and then I fudged the dates with my second so I could have a natural home birth (which went very smoothly). I would really like to live in a state where I can give a midwife full disclosure about my due date and she will still be willing and legally able to deliver my baby at home when I inevitably go past 42 weeks. It seems like all the states that “allow” this don’t have express laws legalizing it. It’s all really just a matter of legal loopholes (a midwife will do it because there isn’t a law against it).

Can you all tell me what states have you given birth in past 42 weeks at home with a reputable midwife? I want to see where it’s most common and move to wherever that is so please answer even if someone else has already given the same answer as you have (or upvote their answer).

Thank you everyone!!!

My dream is a garden stitch sampler blanket. I don’t like any of the patterns I’ve found online so I want to improvise but I don’t know how to pick stitches to ensure all the rows will fit together. 😢

I want to make a garden/flower themed stitch sampler blanket using the color scheme shown in the first AI generated photo. I want to include the granny squares shown in the AI generated image as well (I’ve already made a few), tulip stitches like in the second and third photos attached, and rose stitches like in the fourth photo. I’d like to do some other flowery stitches too perhaps, some shell type things (I absolutely love the colors and feel of the second photo but I think I want more going on than just tulips repeating like that), lacy type edges, etc. I want it to be very feminine and pinky. I just am not skilled enough to figure out what stitches to use, in what order, how to count everything to make it work, etc. Please please help me with tips, tricks, stitch suggestions, order suggestions, and even aesthetic suggestions (the AI generated image is not my plan, it’s literally just AI nonsense with my color scheme and my granny square worked in).
