Lige nu er jeg på mit femte semester af en engelsk bachelor, men næste år vil jeg starte på kandidat! Specifikt i kultur og formidling. Jeg har snakket lidt med en studievejleder, men ved ikke hvor god min ide er.

På mit tredje semester skal jeg lave et kulturprojekt(kulturel praktik) og det vil jeg rigtigt gerne gøre i udlandet! Specifikt Storbritannien. Så mit spørgsmål er egentligt, ville det være en god ide at tage min praktik i udlandet eller burde jeg holde mig til at finde noget i Danmark? Hvad er mest realistiske og sårn.

Im looking for someone to do a high fantasy, pirate themed Roleplay with me. The main storyline is that my character, a shipboard medic, is taken by a pirates crew as his boat is overtaken!

Im planning for it to be a sort of mildly dark-romance? But everything consensual except rhe initial kidnapping! Enemies to lovers of course, and opposites attract!

This is specifically MxM, im imagining lots of bickering between our characters amd a fantasy setting of course!

Hi! I'm Arvyn, and I'm looking for someone interested in becoming a long-term roleplay partner! I'm hoping to find someone who enjoys both writing and actually getting to know their RP partners OOC. I'm not just looking for someone to exchange paragraphs with and disappear afterward — I'd love to make a genuine friendship/connection with the people I write with and have someone I can excitedly ramble about characters, plots, and ideas with!

A little about me

I'm 20 years old and turning 21 in December. I'm from Northern Europe, so my timezone is CEST (UTC+2).

I'm a queer lesbian with a somewhat weird gender identity, so please respect that! Men, please don't approach me expecting romance or flirting — I'm specifically looking for people who will respect my identity and boundaries.

I'm a huge nerd and have way too many interests.

I LOVE making original characters, and I tend to put a ridiculous amount of thought into their personalities, histories, relationships, flaws, aesthetics, etc. I also really enjoy taking canon characters and exploring them outside of what we see in the original story.

What I like to RP

I'm pretty flexible when it comes to the actual type of story!

I'm happy doing canon-based plots within a fandom, completely original settings, or something somewhere in between. I'm also perfectly happy to have an OC interact with canon characters, have multiple OCs interact, or play entirely canon characters depending on what we're both interested in.

I especially enjoy plots with:

• Character development

• Complicated relationships

• Found family

• Friendships

• Angst

• Hurt/comfort

• Drama

• Romance when appropriate

• Adventure

• Fantasy

• Supernatural elements

• Mystery

• Slice of life

• Worldbuilding

• Emotional moments

• Characters with complicated backgrounds

• Characters slowly learning to trust each other

I don't need every RP to be super serious, though! I'm also completely down for silly interactions, characters being idiots together, comedy, wholesome moments, and just having fun.

I'm usually happiest when we can build a story together rather than one person dictating everything. I love bouncing ideas back and forth and seeing where a plot naturally goes.

OCs & canon characters

I write both original and canon characters!

I have quite a few OCs across different fandoms and settings, and I'm always happy to introduce them. I also enjoy creating completely new characters specifically for a plot if that's something we'd both prefer.

I'm also comfortable playing canon characters, and I don't expect you to only play canon characters either. OC x OC, OC x Canon, Canon x Canon, etc. are all possibilities depending on the fandom and story.

OOC communication

This is pretty important to me!

I'd like to be able to talk OOC while we're RPing. You don't have to be constantly available or respond immediately — life happens, and I'm not expecting instant replies.

But I'd really like a partner who actually enjoys chatting outside the RP too. I'd love to talk about our characters, brainstorm future plot ideas, send memes, gush about scenes, discuss lore, etc.

Basically, I'm looking for a writing partner AND a friend, rather than someone who only wants to interact when we're actively writing.

Communication is also important if something isn't working for you. Please just tell me! I'm much happier changing a plot or discussing a problem than having someone silently disappear.

A few boundaries

There are a few things that are non-negotiable for me:

• Please be over 18. I'd ideally like someone around my age, but 18 is the minimum.

• Please don't be bigoted or hateful. Racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, etc. are a hard no.

• LGBTQ+ characters and OCs are absolutely welcome.

• Please respect my identity and don't approach me expecting romantic attention from a man.

• Communication and mutual respect are extremely important to me.

• I'm not interested in partners who expect me to be available 24/7.

• Please don't pressure me into plots, characters, relationships, or themes I'm uncomfortable with.

• I'm looking for something collaborative — not one person controlling the entire story.

I'm also perfectly happy to discuss boundaries, triggers, and RP preferences before we start. I'd rather establish that stuff beforehand so that we're both comfortable!

What I'm hoping to find

Ideally, I'd love to find someone who:

• Is over 18

• Enjoys OOC conversation

• Likes creating and discussing characters

• Is comfortable with LGBTQ+ characters

• Enjoys collaborative storytelling

• Is willing to communicate

• Doesn't mind brainstorming and changing ideas as we go

• Is interested in a long-term RP rather than a one-day interaction

• Doesn't take RP disagreements personally

• Actually enjoys getting invested in the story and characters

You don't need to be an amazing writer or produce enormous replies every time. I'm much more interested in someone who is enthusiastic and invested in the story than someone who writes huge paragraphs but isn't having fun.

Fandoms

Some of the fandoms I'm currently interested in include Percy Jackson, X-Men, anime/manga, and various fantasy/supernatural media, but I'm definitely open to discussing other fandoms too!

I'm also VERY happy to do completely original plots and settings, so you don't necessarily need to share my fandom interests.
