Personally, Honey and Open Wide were the only two books on this list that didn't work for me.

If you're a fan of Yellowface or** **A Good Person, you need to read this. Dare I say……. I think it's even better than both of them combined🤫 The author is coming to NYC, and it's the first time I've ever bought tickets just to meet an author. I had to, I’m completely obsessed with this book. I kind of wish I chose this for my weird girl book club instead of Honey.
I’m based in the US (NYC), but I kept seeing this book all over TikTok as a weird girl lit recommendation. I finally tracked down a copy from a bookstore in Portland, and let me tell you, I wasn't sure what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn't this. It's weird, cannibalistic, unsettling, and the narrator is deeply, deeply messed up. If you love books that make you question what you just read, I'd absolutely recommend it.
