Can I get ID help please? North Hollywood, CA today just chilling out.

Merlin couldn’t ID the chirping earlier but it was Red Whiskered Bulbuls concerned about their babies on the ground. I threw a glass of water at the neighbor’s cat (and they are now keeping him inside at least for the duration ) and then ran into the parents again a few hours later. One day I’ll remember that if it’s May and there are birds going nuts it’s because a baby is fledging.

They’ve now bounced along into the front yard but I’m being their bodyguard from a distance. 😂
