Where to take your dog on the 4th of July

Hi everyone,
I’m hoping for some local advice. I have a dog that’s extremely terrified of fireworks, and while we’ve prepared as much as possible at home, I’m trying to identify a backup plan if things get too intense.

Does anyone know of any relatively quiet areas within an hour or two of Rocklin where fireworks tend to be minimal? I was wondering if somewhere around Granite Bay or the unincorporated areas near Davis/I-505 might be quieter since I don’t believe they have a large city fireworks show, and I understand personal fireworks may not be allowed in some of those areas.

Has anyone successfully found a quieter place on the Fourth? I’m not looking to watch fireworks, I’m trying to get away from them if possible.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone in the Roseville/Rocklin area doing peptide therapy?

Anyone in the Roseville/Rocklin area doing peptide therapy?

I've been noticing more med spas, anti-aging clinics, and wellness centers around the area advertising peptides lately, and I'm curious where people are actually going and what their experiences have been.

I'm mainly interested in peptides for skin quality and "glow" benefits, but I'm also considering a glp-3 option such as retatrutide (if anyone has experience finding a reputable provider).

Which clinic/provider are you using? What peptides are they providing you Have you seen actual results? Any side effects? Roughly what are you paying per month?

Not looking for online peptide vendors, I'm more interested in legitimate local providers and real experiences.

Thanks!

Cooling mats

Hi Anatolian dog family peeps,

Does anyone have any recommendations for outdoor cooling pads or outdoor mats?

I have plenty of indoor beds for my dog (all jumbo size of course) but looking for something to put out on our concrete slab. I've recently re-done the backyard with easy ups, mister systems, fans and an outdoor swamp cooler for my dog to have a pleasant walk to her toilet aka the dog run. She's been enjoying the backyard very much since these improvements and lays down under the easy-ups so I'd like to get her something softer underneath her thats sturdy for outside.

A lot of what i've found looks like junk and for small dogs.
