Wondering about what to do with tree close to our house

This large tree drops lots of nuts, sticks, leaves, etc directly onto our house, sidewalk, deck and I'm not convince it's worth the trouble of keeping it around, despite the shade and visual benefits.

We're the house on the right, so not on our property line, but the other houseowner is willing to get it cut down. It's probably 50' tall, 40" diameter trunk. This is the south side of the houses.

Using a xt60 splitter with an eco-flow and a 12 volt battery

Wondering if anyone else has done this, using a xt60 splitter cord. The situation is I have two sets of solar panels currently hooked into each of the inputs of my eco-flow to max. On cloudy days I would like to also supplement the solar with a battery that I have hooked up terminals to an xt60 output. My idea is to do a splitter and combine the solar panels on one input with the battery and then plug those both into the MPP charge controller. Is this a terrible idea?
