Names and pfps redacted as per rules

Under heavy braking, your weight shifts forward so mas likely mag skid yung rear mo while your front tyres get even more grip so you can brake harder.

Or on-off lang ba alam nila sa brakes and cannot fathom the idea of progressive braking?

In my entire riding experience, I've primarily used my front brakes with a little bias from the rear, including several emergency braking scenarios.

I mean the visor community group is a little toxic lalo towards motorcycles, pero di ko inexpect na kamote plantation rin pala yung natirang riders dun.

Rain pants na riding boots friendly?

Ran into this issue recently. Currently use Motowolf two-piece raincoat. Yung upper no problems for me, comfortable and reliable enough as an overjacket sa riding jacket ko.

Petron Value Card can't be used for cars and motorcycles at the same time

Dropped by petron a few weeks ago and noticed they placed this sticker on the card. Ang kwento ng staff, Petron recently disallowed sharing of PVCs across vehicle types (ie yung PVC ng kotse bawal sa motor) and they added the sticker to make it easier to check.

Legit ba? seems bass ackwards if so.

Personally I ride and drive, the car only goes to petron out of marginal spatial convenience and is happy to take any other fuel. The bike gets Blaze because it's used sparingly. If a decision must be made, then the P300/week bike gets the PVC and the P2,000/week car gets its gas elsewhere.

Locally available touchless shampoo/prewash?

Looking to streamline my detailing sana on a ceramic coated vehicle with a weekly maintenance touchless wash. May available ba locally? Car shampoo doesnt take care of grime that well without mechanical agitation.

We shouldn't be focusing on abolishing Meralco's system loss charge

Go ahead. Check your Meralco bill.

Go to the back page where it says System Loss.

~5% of your bill goes to that. On ours in the last billing, that's equivalent to P0.8/kWh. Meanwhile our rates have skyrocketed from P11/kWh all the way to P16/kWh in the span of a few years.

Sayang yung galit natin for such a measly sum of money. Meanwhile Meralco's executives are laughing all the way to the bank with their negotiated generation contracts which are the real cause of why we're being charged nearly double of what provincial electric cooperatives are charging their consumers with. Partida halos pareho pa systems loss nila, maybe even worse than Meralco's.

Regardless, Meralco Sindikato pa rin. We unfortunately just locked on to a red herring for their benefit.

Also just as a side note, System Losses ≠ jumper. Jumpers are one of several things that's considered Pilferage, which is just a subset of non-technical losses. Technical losses arise from basic physics, you cannot have a system that's 100% efficient. Sa DU side, that's wires and transformers heating up from current flowing through them. You can minimize it but never eliminate it. IMO it should still be charged to the utility (lol) but because if Meralco hates that idea then they'll do their darndest to minimize losses that will become theirs. Still won't solve our high bills though.

RPHA72 Freedconn mount

May adapter plate naman na binebenta si Apex Garage that fits the HJC connect mount and gives you a flat plate to mount your communicator to, pero medj makapal na yung sandwich ng adapter plate-adhesive-comms mount. Decided to 3D print my own with an integrated mount for the KY Pro to keep it flush and slim 👌

PSP-S310 Tuner working in 2026

We adopted ISDB-T here in the Philippines, but I haven't heard of anyone trying out the JDM-only tuner here so I took the leap and glad it worked out.

CFW, had to change VSH region to Japan before the 1seg icon showed up. Menu options are japanese only, unfortunately.

HJC C10/CS-15 vs RPHA-series. Worth the upgrade?

Currently in the market for a second helmet, and considering to upgrade from my current HJC CS-15. More on touring yung riding style ko rather than track/sport.

Features aside (e.g. sun visor ng RPHA70-72) may discernible increase in comfort ba going from P6k 1600g CS-15/CS10 entry level helmets to 26k RPHA series na 1450g, or even the 29k RPHA-11 carbon na ~1200g?

Kung meron man, is that added comfort really worth an extra 20+k?

I find it a little difficult to believe na yung 200-400g weight reduction alone is a significant enough benefit to justify the price, so maybe there's a comfort aspect I'm not familiar with. Happy to hear rin from folks who used other brands' budget and premium segments.
