C5 electrical issues

Was at the track with my 02 base on Saturday and started having electrical issues I’ve never experienced. I’ll add this because it may be relevant-In the past, I’ve intermittently had the gauge cluster/hud just decide to not work a couple times that didn’t last very long, so never thought much of it. The chassis grounds were cleaned by previous owner 4 years ago and the ones i can easily see look clean. Came back to my car after the drivers meeting to see the DRLs on, but oddly the switch was off. As I’m staging on grid for first session, i get charging system on fault on DIC but as voltage came back up seemed to resolve itself (i do have a pretty new optima redtop battery and mechman 170 alternator which I’ve tracked the car with without issues) Everything fine until later in second session. I had a cracked plug wire that gave me blinking CEL- fixed that and thought i was good. Next session starts, i get abs/traction control faults. I could clear them on DIC but they came back. I did get communication faults, but i don’t believe the abs module failed because radio stopped working along with this problem. I did drive the car home 110 miles without issue. Ask these codes were H the next day and none were C. Radio worked again.
Now, my assumption through Google that most likely culprit is faulty/dirty ignition switch. I’ve since ordered new GM ignition switch through advance auto as to avoid possible fake ones on Amazon, and I’ll clean all the grounds. I guess what I’m looking for here is if anybody has had very similar situation and what resolved it. Any insight or advice on what else i should be looking for would be appreciated and thanks for reading such a long winded post.

Snapped batwing pan bolt

Was installing improved racing trap doors in my 02 C5 oil pan. Come time to reinstall and used an old 3/8 torque wrench @18ftlbs. Snapped the circled bolt. Pulled it back off to see if there was enough to unscrew- no dice. Ran out and got a 1/4” torque wrench then I put it all back together. Filled it up with oil and let it run 20 min. Quick drive. No leaks (yet). I fully intend on fixing this whether it leaks or not but won’t have a window of on time this week and I do have a track day next Saturday. I’m just curious if I’m asking for it sending on track. I will monitor for leaks after every drive until i get fixed. Thanks for any advice
