Unpopular opinion

Unpopular opinion, but I’m willing to defend this. You can criticize her PR game, and I’d agree with some of it, but when it comes to her work and how she built her career, she’s one of the few outsider actresses of her generation who can genuinely be called self-made.

She didn’t depend on mentors, constantly lobby producers and directors, use powerful connections to intimidate people in the industry, or have her boyfriends push directors to cast her opposite them. There are many sides to her, but this is one thing about her career that I actually respect.

She literally used Salman’s power to bully people while openly with another man, ruthlessly fired loyal staff over bad weather instead of actual performance issues, and then shamelessly flaunted in the media how Salman’s family is 'so close' to her just because he fixes her

Aishwarya has iconic roles and a legacy beyond beauty with global recognition, yet people dismiss her as “bad actress and just a beautiful face.” Meanwhile, Katrina gets defended with “but she’s beautiful and has screen presence” as if beauty can replace talent. The double standard is obvious.
