Hey all! We’ve had our set up for about 7 weeks and have got into an ok pattern.
System: 15kw solar
25kw inverter
40kw Sigenergy batteries
Charge EV & batteries at “free o’clock” as we call it.
We are in Brisbane and with GloBird - zero hero plan and it’s been pretty good, but each day there has been usage, not a lot but usually around $0.30 a day. This does my head in! Is this a system thing? Is it a GloBird thing? Is rookie user error thing? I have my mode set to GloBirds VPP scheduling, so I under the impression I’m doing it right, I just don’t want to use any grid power unless it’s “free o’clock”.
I export set to 1.7kw so as I have enough storage each morning, and with all this rain and cloud I generally need it as there’s not a lot of solar being produced.
