Missed getting a foil poster at the Eugene show — help a solo mom out?

Seeking someone already planning to brave the merch line at any upcoming show that would be willing to grab me an unsigned foil poster for my son’s nursery — he’s 1 and was not agreeable to the merch booth until the end, and they were sold out! Will happily pay for poster, shipping and a little extra for the trouble! Would be an incredible act of good karma and I will pay it forward ⚡️💀💙❤️

Rabies prophylaxis and breastfeeding

I had to get the vaccine and immunoglobulin treatment last night and am curious if anyone else has had this experience while still breastfeeding. I did ask for the doctor’s advice but she simply said it’s a personal choice and there isn’t enough data to draw concrete conclusions about safety. She felt that after a week it would be completely safe but she didn’t want to give advice for the time in between the treatment and peak immune activity. My little dude is over a year an eating solids with enthusiasm, but I’d love for him to keep nursing as long as he wants to. It’s also a lifesaver for sleep because I’m a solo parent most of the time.

If anyone else has had this treatment and got advice from their provider, I would love to hear your stories! I do have frozen milk but I discovered I have high lipase and haven’t pumped and scalded more than one bag. The immunoglobulin injection sites were in my scalp (zero stars, do not recommend) so not near my breasts at all thankfully. The WHO recommends continuing breastfeeding but my cursory research didn’t make it clear if this was specifically for infants under 1 that require either formula or breastfeeding.

Need a recommendation for an affordable car mechanic for A/C work

Hi, I’m a mom with a young toddler and am on a shoestring budget. I’m fairly sure my expansion valve is freezing and needs to be replaced in my vehicle — I’m looking for recommendations or positive experiences folks have had with local shops. I’d like to support an independent business if possible! This needs to be done soon given the high temps I know are coming — the air isn’t reaching my baby in the back and I don’t want him overheating during our long commutes between home and town ❤️
