I got an instagram ad for Sierra Ferrell on nugs. I already pay for it and went to check because I love her. I can’t find any mention of her or any information, and the ad had no extra info. Does anyone know anything about this?

Update in case anyone else is dealing with it: I was able to find it by going to the watch livestreams section. I guess it’s not linked to her name and you can’t search her name

I’ve been super curious to try faceting for a while now, but unfortunately don’t have an opportunity to do so locally to me.

I have the opportunity to buy a graves mark 1 with the original dop set, 2 copper and 1 tin laps. Cost is 1000 picked up 1.5 hours away.

My problem is I have pretty limited space and no actual clue what I’m doing. Would you recommend me go for it? Do you think I can pick it up and learn it with practice? Feeling really tempted but not super sure. Would love to get some outside opinions

I’ve been waiting 2 weeks for my cyanotope dye to arrive and it finally delivered today. I got home and there was nothing. I checked the UPS tracking photo and they delivered to my crazy wife beater methhead neighbor that I am no contact with. I recognize his house in the picture. Obviously the package is no longer there and they brought it inside. Super duper bummed as I’ve been buzzing with ideas for the last two weeks and have been so excited to get started.

I’m sure I’ll get it eventually but I’m sure it will be a few weeks of UPS claims and reshipping the package. Just super bummed. Not looking for anything, just a quick vent to people who might get it

Has anyone tried using 3d printed lithophanes for cyanotopes? Obviously I’m gonna try anyway (my dye should be here today!!) but I’m just wondering if anyone has tried and had success with this method.

I’m sorry if this is a dumb question, but what does everyone use copper sheets for? I’m really wanting to expand my jewelry making. I’ve only done some wire wrapping so far. I’d love to eventually progress to setting stones with silver, and I know you use sheets for that.

I’m tempted to buy all the tools and stuff and some copper sheet to start practicing. I’m just wondering what everyone uses these for, besides the obvious of backing for set stones. The more creative the better.

Right now my initial investment is pretty high, and I’d love to get a jewelry saw and copper sheet, but I’m having a hard time justifying the extra cost. Any advice?

Right now my cart is up to about 500$. I have some different gage wires, lots of pliers, a couple mallets, a bench block, soldering block, solder, ring mandrel, file, jewelry saw, blades, copper sheet. I think that’s most of it. Anything I missed or I should leave out until I get some more experience? Anything I have listed that is super critical must have?

I’m mostly interested in making wrapped and set necklaces, rings, and bracelets, and just copper for now. Nothing super precious for now. Thanks a bunch!

Any rock or mineral clubs in Chattanooga? Primarily interested in rockhounding and I’d love to learn or try some lapidary arts like making cobachones or simple faceted stones. The entry price is a bit too much for me to invest in something just for myself at home… I’ve started wire wrapping and I’d love to make my own stones essentially.

Hello you beautiful people! This will be my first year at hulaween this year and I am so excited! I’ve been to Bonnaroo 7 times, but I’m changing it up this time.

That said, I always 3d print a bunch of Bonnaroo keychains to give out. I know the logos, imagery, etc to get some cool themed keychains. I’m wondering if there’s any recognizable hula symbols or logos or something that I could put on a keychain.

If anyone has a specific idea, be it for the fest, for a specific artist, or just art in general, if you sketch me a simple design with less than 5 colors, I can trace it and turn it into a 3d printed multicolor keychain and make sure you get one! Thanks for the help and can’t wait to meet everyone
