Very excited to share finished CAD assembly and all STLs for the Trident 300Cube R1 modification to fit 1 inch x 1 inch aluminum extrusions. Wanted to keep it as close to original as possible. Released as the FootCube on github, here FootCube, for the 12"x12"x12" build volume (cubic foot). Was working on this when Voron was releasing the Trident R2 and now I am working on the R2 modifications. Also, adding room for tool changer.

Pi options

I am building and sourcing electronics right now and Raspberry Pi boards are going up in price. I’m looking to add tool changer and want to know what people recommend going with Pi or something else.

Self-sourced motion system components

I am purchasing linear rails from Tensor3D for my self-source build and have free shipping. So, I am considering adding some pulleys, idlers, bearings and maybe belts. They are more expensive and don't have full kit available. What motion components have people noticed make a difference and paying extra is "worth it"?
