I originally (and stupidly) used my Trakt login to sign up as I was leaving Trakt. When trying to log in later, I used my google account (same email address as the trakt login) to log in. Unknowingly I created a second account instead of logging into the first. My goal was to migrate my large collection of tv shows and movies to MDBlist. Now the trakt login account migrated them just fine but whenever I tried to migrate it all to my google login account, it never would allow me and say that that Trakt account was already used for another account. So because of this, my Google login account was pretty much useless and I continued to use the Trakt login. Obviously that ended and now I'm completely unable to log in to my account with my collection. I did a Patreon donation, but this was stupidly on the useless google account.

Tl;dr

Am I SOL? I did submit a ticket on the site but I never heard anything back. I accidentally created two accounts, one with a Trakt login, the other with a google login. Both are tied to the same Google email address. But I can no longer login to the trakt account and that was the one with my large collection.

If so, can I prevent this? I really want to cancel Trakt.

Trying to migrate from trakt, I cannot connect the accounts for some reason, it just gives me an error after I sign in to trakt. So I created a static list that now has all the movies from trakt but I need to get them into my library. What's the easiest way to do it?

I have a collection of like 2k movies and TV shows that I've seen and liked, I like to open my collection randomly if there's nothing new I'm interested. The other main use is tracking my progress of TV shows across multiple rooms.. I know the addons track progress and next episodes, but I use it for different rooms so I need it to be synced throughout the house.

Is Trakt still the best option? The price sucks. The app sucks. Their interface is godawful. They keep changing stuff and making it all worse. I'm really hoping there's something else out there that's better so I can drop this crap.

I was on FLAM but switched to Umbrella. I like it all but my movie collection has like 2k movies. I used to have a homescreen widget that would pull a random bunch for me. Now I have to sift through the collection manually and pass through the same movies every time.

I installed TMDB helper but I'm not sure if it's unable to do what I need or if I'm doing it wrong.

I'm up for any options or alternatives
