I made Movie Paradise, a movie & TV tracker with two-way MDBList sync

Hey everyone 👋 I'm Croco, I make Movie Paradise, a movie and TV tracker for iOS, Android and the web. The latest update just added two-way MDBList sync, so I wanted to share it here.

You can track shows episode by episode and the movies you watch, keep a watchlist and your own lists, see upcoming episodes on a calendar, rate everything and dig into your stats. It's free to use, in 24 languages, with Premium for extras.

How the MDBList sync works:

• The movies and episodes you watch, your watchlist, dropped shows and your ratings, including season and episode ratings, sync both ways

• What you change in Movie Paradise reaches MDBList within minutes, and your MDBList changes are picked up automatically

• Large removals wait for your review instead of being applied, and anything that can't be matched is listed with the reason

• It works alongside Trakt too: watches from MDBList reach Trakt as well

You connect it in Settings, right next to Trakt. Sync is part of Premium.

Hope you like it, and let me know if you have any questions!

I had a collection with over 1k movies and shows in it, am I SOL? (Trakt login dilemma)

I originally (and stupidly) used my Trakt login to sign up as I was leaving Trakt. When trying to log in later, I used my google account (same email address as the trakt login) to log in. Unknowingly I created a second account instead of logging into the first. My goal was to migrate my large collection of tv shows and movies to MDBlist. Now the trakt login account migrated them just fine but whenever I tried to migrate it all to my google login account, it never would allow me and say that that Trakt account was already used for another account. So because of this, my Google login account was pretty much useless and I continued to use the Trakt login. Obviously that ended and now I'm completely unable to log in to my account with my collection. I did a Patreon donation, but this was stupidly on the useless google account.

Tl;dr

Am I SOL? I did submit a ticket on the site but I never heard anything back. I accidentally created two accounts, one with a Trakt login, the other with a google login. Both are tied to the same Google email address. But I can no longer login to the trakt account and that was the one with my large collection.

MDBList Stremio Addon (Beta)

Your MDBList library is now available straight in Stremio and other compatible apps, with no third-party addon needed.

What you get

• Watchlist: movies and shows as their own rows
• Up Next: your in-progress shows; click one to jump straight to the next episode
• Your lists: pick any of your Dynamic, Static, AI or Feed lists, plus lists you've liked, and set the order they appear in

How to set it up

  1. Go to Preferences → Stremio integration
  2. Click Choose lists and pick what you want to see
  3. Hit Install in Stremio, or copy the URL into Nuvio (Settings → Addons)

Changed your lists later? Just reinstall from the same URL. ℹ️ Catalog refreshes count toward your daily API limit. The old Stremio integration is still there as Legacy if you prefer it.

What is the best app/website to track movies & TV Series ?

Hey everyone! Lately, I’ve been watching so many movies and shows that I’m losing track of what I’ve finished, what episode I’m on, and what’s still on my watchlist. Can anyone recommend a good tracking app? I’m looking for something with a clean layout similar to AniList, available on both a web browser and Google Play so I can sync between my PC and phone. (Not IMDb, please!)
