iPhone 15 save and restore

I have an iPhone 15 that belonged to my dad. After he died, my mother deleted a bunch of text messages and photos, then hid the phone (she wasn't well). She's also since died and I found the phone.
It powers on and I can unlock it (he used the same code for EVERYTHING). I don't have his iCloud password and he probably didn't do cloud backups.
Is there a chance I can find and recover the photos and messages that were deleted? Is there a good option to back things up so I can deal with it all some time in the future? It sat powered off for about 2 years.

Can the maker be identified?

This ring was my grandmother's and I think she received it in the late 1950s. I doubt it was new then.

It's set in platinum.

Inside the band is what looks like 8c7 and PLAT, no spaces between them.

Does anyone have any idea who might have made it, or what the 8c7 indicates? It's definitely not carat weight.

copy of Bartolomé Esteban Murillo "The Immaculate Conception"

I already know this is a copy of a Bartolomé Murillo painting called The Immaculate Conception. I don't know how old it is or by whom, but the central figure has a more 19th century aesthetic than the original and the other copies I've seen in pictures.

I bought it at an antique auction in Glenwood, NY around 1978 or 1980, with no other information. In the same sale I purchased a landscape by Zygmund Lenduzcko. He was a Polish national who spent time in Brasil. I think both were from the same estate which just indicates that the auction location isn't much help in identifying the artist.

My dad had the opportunity to have it x-rayed, and at that time (mid 1980's) they could tell there was a different image painted over underneath this one but I don't think there was any idea what it might be.

I'd like to identify the artist if possible.
