You can afford to be lonely but not unsuccessful

Last few days, I have understood one thing very clearly. You can afford to be lonely but not unsuccessful.

After a certain age, love will not be selfless. It will have its own demands.

Bachpan(till 21 maybe) ka pyaar hi hota hai jahan koi demand nahi hoti bas saath kaafi hota hai. Uske baad ladki bhi aapse tab hi pyaar karegi jab aapka koi standard ho.

And I don't think it's unfair at all. U need love but is love enough to live life. Maybe love will fulfill 50% of what is required for happiness in life but for rest 50% u have to be successful.

Pyaar bhi tabhi accha lagta hai jab dono log apni zindagi mein accha kar rahe ho.

Hum ladke aise kyon hote hain?

Ek nazar mein pyaar hota hai? Does love at first sight really exist? If yes, toh kya ye sirf ladko ko hota hai.. I am currently in college. We were having a club event and i was one of the coordinators. There was one girl in my club who was anchoring for that event(i didnt know her before that as it was duty of other coordinator to find anchors). Pata nahi kya hua, par kuch toh hua. Attraction? Liking? Love? I dont know but i wanted to talk to her. Event finished successfully. After event i was standing alone, she came to me and said maja aaya, i could not say ha accha tha. We talked for a little more time. Then i didnt talk to her for months due to summer break. Then, we had another event and we were together for whole, i talked a lot to her about everything. That day, i was like something can happen. I was very happy. After that we met many times(not personally only for club related works). I was like, u dont have to mess it up, take things slowly. I was living a dream till i saw her with another guy and the dream shattered. I was very sad. But why was i sad? I wasnt in relationship with her? We were not even friends properly. Its not like we were meeting everyday. But i was sad. And even today after 1 year, sometimes i feel yaar kash woh mil jaati. But something else was destined. Aur shaayad meri destiny mein bhi koi aur likhi hai. Just waiting for the right person. And u get right person only at the right time..
Woh waqt bhi aayega, jab muqammal hogi humari mohabbat.

Is love really Mohabbatein-coded?

I just watched Mohabbatein and first thought that came into my mind was, can love in life really be like as shown in the movie or is it just a work of fiction.

Can we find someone like Raj Aryan Malhotra who loves us even after our death? Do the lessons given by Shahrukh Khan really work in real life?

Kya sach mein 'Pyaar zindagi mein sirf ek baar hota hai' . Kya sach mein 'Pyaar mein sauda nahi hota'.

The lines from the movie 'Koi tum ko badal kar pyaar kare, toh pyaar nahi sauda kare' should be true in real life. If someone cannot accept you for who you truly are, maybe they’re not in love with you—they’re in love with the version of you they want you to be.

Aur 'mohabbat mein shartein nahi hoti' . Mohabbat toh hoti hai duniya bhar ki shartein bhulaane ke liye. A relationship where you don't need to pretend, there are no conditions, you are not being judged. Bas ek insaan jisse aap sab kuch bata sakein.

'Mohabbat bhi zindagi ki tarah hoti hai, har mod aasaan nahi hota, har mod par khushi nahi hoti. Lekin jab hum zindagi ka saath nahi chhodte toh mohabbat ka saath kyon chhode.” This line will stay with me forever. There will be difficulties but you didn't sign for it because it was easy. You loved someone because you felt something special with her. Aur kisne kaha special cheezein aasan hoti hai.

Kisi se itna pyaar kariye ki woh aapse utna hi pyaar karne ko majboor ho jaaye.

Aur shayad aapko apni zindagi bhi MOHABBATEIN-CODED lagne lage.

And lastly special mention to a dialogue:

'Tum sawal bahut puchhte ho?'

'Tum jawab kyon nahi deti?'

Do we really need love?

Dil ko mohabbat ki talaash hai, par pata nahi kyon.

I always wonder do we really need love or we are just looking for someone to make us feel less alone. Loving someone or being loved is not easy. Love is never 50–50; someone always gives a little more. When you are in need, your partner has to make more efforts and when the roles reverse, you do the same.
Ishq mein barabari kab hui, kabhi kisi ko jyada hota hai kabhi kisi ko kam.

Everyone craves someone who cares for them, who likes them, who adores them, who LOVES them.
Even thought of someone in your life with whom you don't need to have any secret, with whom you can share even worst thing about yourself, someone who knows your flaws and even then loves you is enough to make you fall in love.
Love is a whole package—with some flaws, a lot of comfort, endless peace, and the feeling of being completely at home with someone.

Toh kya pyaar chahiye? This is like asking, 'do you need money?' You need money to live a good life but you need LOVE to make that life even better.

How do people leave someone they once loved so much?

Starting with the disclaimer that I am 22M and I have never dated anyone till now. I find love very difficult. If I am with someone i can't imagine that I will be able to live without her again. I am in college right now and I see people together for last 3 years breaking up. I don't know why but I feel sad for them, how a relationship of 3 years be broken. 3 years is a long time, isn't it? Everyone has their own tantrums and if you are in love with someone I think you can adjust to it. Atleast that's what I think, I can adjust a bit of someone I love. I don't know I am being delusional here but for me love is the probably the epitome of what you want in life. Love is a whole journey of being attracted to someone to liking her and finally falling in love with her. Loving someone and being loved.

And I want to say again I have never been in a relationship so I can be delusional here

Main Vaapas Aaunga

Just watched Main vaapas aaunga. And currently I am finding it hard to find words but I want to convey what I am feeling. Everything about this film was perfect. Story, songs, cast and top of that acting of Naseeruddin Shah. I am fascinated by the topic PARTITION. Have already read 3 books about it, and I crave for more. I want to find out what happened in 1947. This film did a brilliant job depicting human emotions. Leaving your home in which you have spent your whole childhood. All the scenes between Vedang Raina and Sharvari were really cute, especially their first meet. Scene when they went to the wedding of kinnu's friend's sister's wedding was brilliant. The scene in which they are leaving their women behind promising they will come, i was in tears knowing they are not coming back. Then scene in which dadi is cutting neck of every girl to protect them totally broken me, I was in shock. Then Diljeet going to Sargodha(I was hoping they have this part in story) was beautiful. His video call with Kinnu(his dadaji) and then kinnu asking jiya if he can leave and jiya giving him permission was so beautiful. I don't know after how long i literally wept while watching a movie. We want more movies like this. Please make more movies and series based on Partition. We should not forget what led to a partition of a country on the basis of religion.

And finally, IMTIAZ ALI, you are wonderful. Please keep making movies.
