What's the deal with all of the tickets on Tixel right now?

Obviously some of them, as we've seen on here, are people that can't or might not be able to make it for various reasons, but there are currently 50+ tickets available and plenty have already been hoovered up by people who didn't manage to buy before it sold out - over a month before the festival. That's not "oh shit, something's come up". Seems like a lot of people selling tickets.

Is this more a case of people buying them on finance just in case they fancy it, and now they're selling them? Slaughter to Prevail were announced at the festival last year, so presumably anybody selling their tickets because they're playing must've known before they bought them.

Fantasy Mosconi Cup game

Basically you can pick any 5 players that have played in the Mosconi Cup for either side (no repeat picks, i.e. a team full of Fedors or Jaysons) and you can only pick one player per year - then the computer pits your team against a past MC team. And yes, I have accounted for the fact Fedor played for both!

The ratings aren't overly accurate and based very loosely on Fargo. Obviously the higher rating doesn't necessarily mean a win (as with actual Fargo).

If you pick difficulty levels 1 or 2, you're pretty much guaranteed to win, especially if you draw one of the older Europe teams or more recent USA ones, but it's just a bit of fun.

Disclaimer: I cobbled this together using AI this morning just to kill an hour, and saw a football (soccerball) game similar that was pretty good fun, so thought a pool one might be interesting too.
