Freebies and monthly offers from casinos

I've recently started visiting three casinos near me. One is 30 minutes away, one is an hour, and one is about 1.5 hours. They all send me lots of mail now, and of course offers of free play, free food, and free rooms. My girlfriend and I visit these places multiple times per month, and I typically get better offers than her, presumably because I spend more on my account. I get offers of free things too, like blankets, tote bags, or kitchen gadgets. I get those, but she does not. She also gets lower free play amounts and barely any food credits.

Lately, I usually get $20-$25 per week in free play, and about $20-$40 per month in free food credits. 2 of the casinos have been offering me weekly free rooms also. Then 2 of them also offer free giveaways (blankets, totes, etc). She usually gets only $5 weekly free play, and no food credits, and none of the free giveaway items.

So the question is - anyone know approximately how much we need to spend to get the various levels of comps per month? I am sure there's no exact answer to that question, but maybe there's some general knowledge out there that I just don't know. I'd say we run probably $2k per month through my card (ok, sometimes I go without her lol) and maybe only $400 through hers.

Our thought is that instead of playing so much more on my card, we could split it up and play more on hers, and maybe she would get offered the free goodies more often too.

My initial thought is that the freebie items probably aren't worth the hassle of trying to figure this all out lol....But, some of the things I have got are kind of nice actually. Some have been junk though too (I'm looking at you Firekeepers fan/speaker combo thing from last week!)

(The casinos are in Michigan and are Firekeepers, Gun Lake and Soaring Eagle, if that makes a difference)

Gun Lake Casino question

Does anyone know what the giveaway item was yesterday, 6/12? Thinking about heading out that way tomorrow and might stop in if it's one I can use. The first week it was the cordless screwdriver set. Anyone go there yesterday?

Thanks in advance!

Places to stay for a Cubs game

Looking for places to stay in a neighboring city for 2 nights, we are going to the game on 6/16 vs. the Rockies. Don't want to spend a ton of money on a hotel and anything anywhere near Wrigley seems to be multiple hundreds per night. We can travel 30-45 minutes away if needed. Looking for under $100 per night and a decent, safe place to stay. Any suggestions?

Update:
I think we are closing in on deciding to stay at Rosemont, there's a few hotels available for around $120 per night, good enough for me.

Tentative list o' shit to do:
Tuesday night - Cubs game of course
Wednesday - Giordano's for lunch, Casino during the day, Zanies Comdey Club (or some piano bar place) for the evening.
Thursday - Lunch somewhere fun, then go to Shedd Aquarium or the Planetarium on the way out of Chicago (we live in Michigan). Thursday night we're gonna use a comp room at a casino about an hour from our house and then do some local things to round out hopefully a really fun few days.

Is Rosemont a good choice?

Bonus selection - does it matter?

I recently played a game where I got a bonus round where I had to choose from a variety of options. Something like this:

3 rows with 10 free spins
4 rows with 8 free spins
5 rows with 5 free spins
6 rows with 3 free spins

Something like that anyway, not those numbers exactly.

My question is - Since slot outcomes are determined at the time of the button press - does it matter at all which one of those I select? Would it give me the same payout regardless, or are there different payouts for each option?
