I bought an already modded PS VITA which had all sorts of Chinese apps installed. After some difficulty I managed to reset factory settings and remove the CFW after which I followed the guide and did the hack myself.

For some reason one of the apps remains and there is no option to delete it. It’s the one between Battery fixer and VitaDB. I think it’s called Vita Toolbox and seems to be similar to VitaShell. It’s all in Chinese though.

How do I remove it ?

Bought a used already modded Vita, need some help

I’ve never owned a Vita before, so I bought one and it’s already modded. The console version is 3.65. It is set to English in settings but a lot of menus and icons aren’t in English and I don’t know what they are.

How do I know which of these I should delete ? Also how to know which of these requires an update or something ? I don’t know how long along this was modded.

I basically have no clue about these things. I’m open to any tips or any things that I have to do here.

So, everything worked fine until recently, I used 3.7.20 and then I installed the Beta (3.8.1 or 3.8.2 I believe). Then I left my Legion Go 2 powered off for 2 weeks because I was abroad. When I turned it on some strange boot menus started appearing when I turn the device on and off. The battery wasn’t dead, it was about 80%.

Today I updated to 3.8.3 and the issues continued. I had some difficulty updating and had to update through desktop mode and several restarts.

The menu that appears is in the photos. Everything works fine when the timer ends, it just boots into SteamOS and I can play as usual. But it appears every time when I shut it down and then shut it off.

I am dual booting Windows 11 and SteamOS.

How do I fix it ?
