Start Date Discrepancy (Is this shady of me?)

I started my first job out of college on November 2nd, 2024, and have been with them since that date. That date is on my employer's official portal (I work at a large company in Consulting). This puts me at exactly 1 year and 11 months of employment as of 2 days ago.

Would it be unadvisable to say I started on October 2024? A lot of the jobs I am applying for require 2 YOE and I have a feeling that I am being auto filtered out due to this small, 2 day difference.

What do you guys think? Do you think it is going to cause more issues than it will solve?

About to pull the trigger on the surgery

Hey all,
I started the process of consulting roughly 6 months ago and finally found a surgeon I was happy w and agreed to perform it. I am paying out of pocket, basically half my life savings at 24 (40k) for genio + djs. I have mild OSA so I am mainly doing this for aesthetics.

That being said: I know the first photo looks fine. My problem is at certain angles and most photos without my beard, I am VERY unhappy with my side profile. I have spent the last 6 months also mulling over the psychological hardship I will face going through with this and have finally come to the decision that I will be moving forward, as I am 24 and at potentially the best time for me to get this procedure.

My surgeon said he is going for roughly 8-12mm on both the top and bottom, with more movement on my maxilla.

Wish me luck and I’ll keep this forum posted w updates.

Insurance Denied Claim (Requested More Info - VSP)

Hi,

My surgeon recently put in a pre auth for my surgery and it was denied on the grounds of not enough information (my surgeon just attached my in-lab sleep apnea test I believe). They asked my surgeon for a virtual surgical plan (VSP) which is going to cost me $1,500 out of pocket... my surgeon says that he hasn't ever had a patient need this for pre auth to go through. Curious if any of you have dealt with this.
