Warning: Possible Job Scam in Marathahalli
I want to warn job seekers about a suspicious interview/placement center located in Marathahalli, above the Airtel office.
Here's how it works:
You receive a call for an interview or job opportunity.
When you arrive, there's usually a person on the ground floor who guides candidates to the correct floor.
He asks whether it's your first time visiting. If you say yes, you're allowed to proceed.
If you say you've been there before, he may call the office and tell you to come back another day.
The people involved are typically dressed in formal attire, which makes the setup look professional and legitimate.
Once inside, candidates are told they need to pay money and are promised help in passing an exam or assessment that will supposedly help them secure a job with a company.
After paying and writing the exam, many candidates never receive their results, and there is little to no follow-up regarding the promised job opportunity.
Please be cautious if you are invited to interviews at such centers. Legitimate employers generally do not ask candidates to pay money to pass recruitment exams or secure jobs.
