I’m bringing home an 11-12 week old Cavapoo puppy soon and wanted advice on food.

I’ve heard Cavapoos can have sensitive stomachs, so I want to be careful with diet changes.

What food worked well for your Cavapoo puppy?

Did you keep the breeder’s food at first?
Any ingredients/proteins to avoid?

How slowly did you transition foods?
Any probiotic recommendations?

Would love to hear real experiences, especially if your puppy had soft stools or tummy issues early on.

My cavapoo puppy was born on March 4, 2026.

So far:
- Bordetella: 4/8/26
- DA2PPV+CV #1: 4/22/26
- DA2PPV+CV #2: 5/13/26
- Next DA2PPV+CV due: 6/3/26

I’m trying to understand what comes next:

When should rabies vaccine be given in this timeline?

After the 6/3 DA2PP shot, is anything else needed or is that usually the final one?

When should heartworm prevention start?

When should flea and tick prevention start?

Any other vaccines I should consider (lepto, Lyme, flu), or are they optional?

When is the right age to think about neutering?

Just want to make sure I’m following the correct schedule and not missing anything important
