Fibonacci Retracement Levels - Trading Strategy

It's tricky for many to understand this tool. But this is one of the universal tools in the stock market; if learned to use correctly, it can change the way anyone trades.

If anyone still struggles and wants to understand it in a better way, then they can always access it on bullishstocks.in It automatically populates at the click of a button.

One long red bar is Trump's announcement of a ceasefire on 3rd Feb 2026. Since it ate most of my profit, I can't forget about it. The mistake I made was that I broke my own rules!

I journaled that day, and the only conclusion I drew was

---------> "Follow the F$#&ing rules."

Even if I had followed the rule, I still would have taken loss. But that would have been half of what you see on the chart. This would have pushed my profit curve a little higher and better.

If I want to brutally summarise my last 3 to 4 years of trading journey into the top 3 learnings, then they would be as follows:

a. Trade planning independently: There are two subpoints in this, one is trader can plan his trade. typically it would be based on a certain point of view/logic that he/she would build for a trade. Does it matter that POV is right or wrong? Honestly, no! There is a way to think about the markets. If a trader has understood it, then it has crossed a very important milestone. Second, subpoint within this, he/she should be able to do trade planning independently. No comparison! Doesn't matter what others are doing, what fin-influencer is saying, what tip or recommendation you are hearing or what series of news or events are happening.

b. Consistency: Consistency requires both capital and conviction. A trader should be able to do the same thing again, and again and again and again! If he/she doesn't have capital and/or conviction for any reason, then even a winning strategy in front of his eyes has zero value. There is a way to measure and build conviction that can be learned. And ofcourse trader has to have capital. Without these two, even trade planning won't help. Irrespective of the results after each trade being positive or negative, it shouldn't influence consistency.

c. Mindset: Unfortunately, this is a very personal aspect in trading. Only guiding principles can be learnt but mindset develops only with practice. Execution is purely dependent on mindset. Hence, after learning everything, if the execution has flaws, then it will be most of the time due to the mindset. The mind gets influenced and carried away by greed, fear, or lack of faith. Whatever happens trader won't be able to last longer in the markets if they don't build tools and techniques to master his/her mindset.

According to me, these 3 covers everything and hold top most priority in the learning journey. Do share if you have additional or alternative thoughts.

I have been building my track record for a couple of years just to start teaching Stock Market Trading to beginners.

My approach can be broken down into 3 simple steps:

  1. Building a view on the market, in specific stocks, considering to take position
  2. Create a strategy in the stock - entry, exit criteria and trade plan
  3. Follow up on each trade in each stock by journaling it in the right way

If you think you can learn something from me, then feel free to reach out. I'm happy to teach it for a reasonable fee. However, I will not teach everyone; there will be a small selection criteria as I personally feel only smart people can learn it the right way! Rest, even taught, will end up in failure. Since I am starting to teach stock market trading, I would prefer students who can help me achieve positive results rather than negative ones. Win-win situation for both! Eventually, this would be a community of profitable traders/investors trading together / learning from each other!

As I am also a student of the market and learning continuously, the next step for me is to learn to optimise cost to improve my return on capital. Will share my cost optimisation learnings with the selected students.

I have attached my last couple of years PnL. If we agree to move forward (after selection criteria), then you can verify the same PnL live (just to prove this is not any AI-generated image!)

The entire market is in Bearish mode! However, based on sector performance, which stocks are still in a bullish sideways or bullish trend?
