I know it’s very variable but can anyone shed some light into how much full time for each would expect to take home? Just want a rough estimate

Is there anyway to figure this out? When I go to select seats, the entire plane seems to be up for grabs lol

I’m seeing a lot of distaste for the specialty in this subreddit and a lot seasoned attendings telling med students to strongly re-consider. I am wondering if this is specific to the US or if Canadian docs feel similarly.

A Canadian M2 strongly considering EM/Crit Care

I know this question has been answered in the past many times but I still really cannot find a definitive answer as to why someone would choose the 5 year option be 2+1. I guess I’m really wondering what the benefits of the 5 year are and if you can start the first year of fellowship during year 5 (specifically critical care).
