My theory is that Drake spoilt the chances of us ever witnessing a joint Cole & K dot album 💿

What is your theory?

Whats your biggest music theory🎶🤨?

If only Drake had never taken offense to Kendrick Lamar's "Control" verse — then we might never have gotten "Not Like Us."

The "Control" verse by K-Dot was actually a shout-out, not a diss. This is what led to the fallout, plus the fact that Kendrick addressed it on his BET Cypher.

This fallout ruined the chances of Kendrick, Drake, and J. Cole working on joint projects — which, to me, would have been some of the biggest rap projects ever.

Kendrick was actually on J. Cole's album Born Sinner, but after Drake got mad, Kendrick pulled the plug and has never since worked with any of those artists.

My other theory (which I won't get into) is that Jay-Z took his style from Nas and Big L 🕊️🕊️
