My brother is 9 and I am 16. He tends to go through my stuff all of the time and its frustrating. Whenever he goes in my room and look through my personal bags and drawes, my stuff end up destroyed or he rips up my artwork, expensive skincare is destroyed or my earbuds get lost, you get the gist right? My door has no lock at all since my parent removed it. I talk to both of them about installing a lock back into my room so many times but my mom keep making excuses saying "Oh i can't do it" or telling me reasons why she can't do it. When she was the one who suggest removing the lock in the first place. I told her about this problem more than 10 times and she still wont listen. Sometimes I need my own space but my brother keeps going into my room and I kick him out and he ended having a meltdown and vomit. I know it's not his fault that he doesn't understand boundaries but it is annoying.
