gendering hobbies is weird and archaic

You can't convince me there is a single hobby out there that needs to be or should be catered exclusively towards one gender to the exclusion of all others. There is no inherent biological trait that dictates that a hobby be enjoyed only by people with a specific identity, so why does our society treat it as such? I know it's gotten better over time, I know it's because of patriarchy, but ugh it gets exhausting to exist in spaces you've always been in and have interests you've always had, but to still be made to feel like an imposter because you're just the wrong genre of person. Just had to vent idk
