Has anyone received their double citizenship in México city?

Hello, could someone please tell me about their experience getting Mexican citizenship in CDMX ? Did you need to provide an apostilled birth certificate? I'm an American citizen born to Mexican parents and I'm trying to get my dual citizenship. Im in Mexico at the moment and the town I'm currently in is making the process more difficult by asking for documents I don't have, like my parents' death certificates. I'm trying to avoid those extra steps. How much did the process cost? Did you have to call to make an appointment? Thanks for your time!

Trying to get Mexican citizenship but my small town rejected 2024 AMLO decree. Will México city accept no apostille birth certificate?

Hello, I'm currently in México. I am in the state of México. I'm fairly remote in a small town. I've been trying to get my double citizenship but the smaller offices ask for a lot more documents. I currently don't have my birth certificate apostille. I would rather avoid doing so because the shipping cost for FedEx is a lot for me right now. I'm on a limited income. I brought up the "Soy México" program and AMOL decree 2024 stating:
”In the case of birth documents that prove the nationality and identity of Mexican people born abroad or migrants returning from Mexican nationality, consular legalization or apostille will not be required. It will be sufficient to present the foreign birth certificate and the birth certificate of the Mexican father or mother to prove their identity and Mexican nationality in order to obtain the registration of their birth before the Civil Registries of the country, in terms of the applicable regulations.”

I printed out the decree and My town office said they "never received such updates". Its been two years, so they dismissed it. Now they want more documents than other places ask for. Example; proof of residency, my parents curp. Apostille birth certificates. Death certificates.

I am willing to travel to México city to get my double citizenship. I only have my birth certificate and my parents' birth certificates. I got their CURP online.

Will México city be easier? Also how much is the process so I can budget accordingly. Thanks.

I am dead broke. In different country. No income. I tired to bake to make money and it failed. I have no clue how provide income. How do I unblock my finances?

Also, I am debating moving to a new city. It is completely risky, but I wonder if this is what I have to do to be on my career path. Is traveling shown on my chart? I know my money flow, it involves people or the community. Please advise, I am in a really terrible spot and I need some guidance. 💕
