(Yacht or Nyacht) Ween-Boys Club

I don't think its Yacht by the strictest definition but its got a bounce and Gener is definitely doing his best Micheal McDonald impression. Too bad its got organ instead of e-piany.

USA/PA Noise complaint in retail space

I own a music store in a strip mall type situation. About 2 weeks ago a pilates/yoga type gym had opened up in the space under me. They are LOUD as in I can clearly hear every word the instructors are saying and able to hear the music clearly. I teach lessons and this has greatly impacted my ability to teach. It is annoying and distracting for my instructors and students.

Today my someone from the landlord stopped by and heard it, agreed it was loud and apparently talked to the owner. The resolution isn't working for me, she agreed to not play music but the volume of the voice remains unchanged. There is no clear plan in place to sound proof her space.

Are there any laws to protect businesses from noise? Is there anything to threaten my landlords or her with to force her to sound proof?

Has anyone else had the hardest time refretting these things? I had crazy, crazy, tear out upon pulling the frets, like so much worse than ive ever experienced. On top of thr fact that the frets are so tiny that there is practically nothing to grab onto. I did everything I normally do, I heated up the frets with solder, put a guard under as I moved up and went so, so slow, nothing made it better.

Ive spent the last 3 hours fixing the tear out getting it looking acceptable.

This is my home beater acoustic, its a Conn, like the trombone maker. Anyway, Ive always been scared to refret an acoustic, but i hated the little 70s micro frets and I had a couple starting lift so bit the bullet.

I made a couple turnbuckle braces to support the fretboard extension. Started with the frets there, ive always used a press to install frets but ended up hammering all of them after the extension went well. It went better than expected and it required very little leveling. I love having an acoustic with jumbo frets.

Im just proud of myself and no one else cares. Also, you can do whatever you put your mind to or some shit, achieve your dreams etc....
