Homer

This was one of the funnest pieces I’ve made. I started with water color on the fabric. Then I added some roving wool and 293729292 French knots. I almost gave up on it.. I’m so glad I didn’t! Hope you enjoy

Homer

I started on this last night and ended up ripping it up. Almost gave up on it tbh. Glad I didn’t end up doing that.

Combo of water color, needle felting, and 282937822 French knots. I’m happy with it.

Doggy

My coworker asked me to make his dog, Rojo. After a few hours of work this is what I ended up with so far. I don’t enjoy doing full animals so this is going to end up being a fridge magnet.

Charcuterie Board

I don’t know what inspired me to do a charcuterie board but after two days I finally finished. I don’t know why I had so much trouble with the deli meat but I did. Lots of color blending went into this piece. This board is making me want some wine!

Lupe the Bass

My name is Priscilla. I’m from Kerrville, TX. We just had our second catastrophic flood in the span of less than 13 months.

Each flood Lupe the Bass has survived. I was feeling kinda like crap so I decided to channel my mental exhaustion into this. This is my rendition of Lupe. She’s needle felted and then added onto fabric with embroidery floss embellishment. Then I added her to a circular frame. Surprisingly this only took me about three hours to make.

Art is so cool.

Fire on the mountain

Did some wool color blending and felting + embroidery + texture with beads.

This occupied me for about four hours last night. Sure was a lot of fun to make!!

Armadillo

Made this armadillo this weekend. Words cannot describe how much I despise adding ears lol. Anyone else hate ears?

I blended a few greys together, added some pink dots, and used some beads for the eyeballs. I’m really happy with it considering I attempted an armadillo in December and I gave up. Lol

Mini Weaves

Made these mini weaves today and attached them to wooden thread spools. They’re about 4” tall give or take. My plan is to turn them into bag charms!

I’m so happy with how they turned out. Not bad for a Friday afternoon.

Dawg

Don’t show my projects very often until they’re done. So this is new for me. I’m working on a dog right now. Started it tonight. Been working on it a few hours.. and I’m happy with how it’s going so far.

Golden cheek warbler

This is my take on a golden cheek warbler bird. Started working on this piece about a month ago when someone commissioned it from me. This is also my second attempt at bird legs with wiring. Overall I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I tend to make cardinals so I’m still practicing with other bird shapes. Sure hope my client enjoys it!

Wool roving

I don’t know if this pertains to the group totally, but I did use my felting needle to tuff it up and shape it a bit more.

This is my first ever weave. Like got a loom off Amazon two weeks ago. This was a lot of fun to make. I was able to use some new wool I just purchased from my stash of mohair locks.

Flamingo

This flamingo tested my patience. I’ve never hated legs more than this time lol. Either way, I’m really happy with it! I hope the person I made it for enjoys it! Sometimes you gotta improvise and step away. I stepped away from this world project for a month or so.

2026 ➡️ 2021

On the right is a Grateful Dead bear I made in 2021. This was literally the second thing I made. Fast forward to 2026 and this is my second dancing bear. A lot of practice and patience in between.

I had to add my own statement to it and add the protest sign cause why not. Anyway, hope you enjoy it.

Baby Yoda

My husband asked me why I was making yoda. I didn’t have an answer for him. Anyway, this is my take on a baby yoda. Hope you enjoy it!

Cardinal

Made my mom a cardinal bird for Mother’s Day. This was also my first attempt at making my own legs. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Can’t wait to see her reaction!!

Elvis +Collection

Had been looking for this Elvis record for awhile. Lucked out and got it for what I consider to be affordable, considering I feel like they’re getting more expensive.

We do most of our shopping when we go on vacation. We travel a few times a year. At this rate, I’m gonna need a bigger cabinet. Especially proud of us considering we have our entire collection listed on a shared Google Sheets. No more double buying!

My niece is going to the university of South Dakota next year. I decided to make my cowgirl niece a little boot for a little gift! Yeehaw!
