Feeling nostalgic about this amazing experience I had 2 years ago!! I was working in Sapporo at the time and got to visit this Gintama holy site (the shop in the first pic straight up had a Gintama shrine lol). I bought a replica wooden sword which I even got tattooed once I got back to the US! 1000/10 I highly recommend visiting Hokkaido in general (stunningly beautiful, fewer tourists, cool summer weather, etc etc) but I especially recommend Toyako for Gintama fans. Lots of great cosplay and everyone was super nice!!

I’m getting married next year and, after seeing my neck/chin in some recent engagement photos, am considering getting chin lipo before the wedding. My neck is normally pretty slim looking (see last photo where I’m not smiling), but when I smile, I get this prominent double chin. I’ve had one consultation that wasn’t super enlightening about whether I’m a good candidate, so I have a consultation with another surgeon next week.

For anyone with similar anatomy: is this more of a muscular issue, or would removing fat be helpful? I’m about 5’5 ~145 lbs so I don’t think it’s purely a weight issue, plus I’ve had this sort of “face sucking in while smiling” thing going on even at my thinnest in high school. Any help/insights appreciated!!
