After 39 years, I finally have my first G1 combiner!!

As a kid, I only ever had Strafe. I knew he was part of a combiner, but I never was able to find the other bots (in the dark ages before the internet). I did some horse trading at my local toy store and made little me's day!

Vintage Soundwave beach towel. Close to, if not 40 years old!

Still working on getting a few stubborn stains out, but there's no holes and he smells nice at least. Spent countless days at the local swimming spot every summer in the mid to late 80s. Thought I'd share something you don't ever see here. This definitely solidified Soundwave as my favorite Deception back in the day!

Year 6 update: Ryobi 20" lawnmower model RY401011VNM 40v

Well, it finally happened. Some of you may remember, some may not but I made a post about 4 or 5 years ago here about the handle brackets coming loose, and a quick tutorial on how I tightened them back up. Today, I finally had to tighten them up again when I noticed the detents were slipping out of the bracket again.

Not only do I mow my lawn, but for the past 2 years I've also mowed a buddy's lawn (about the same size as mine, he hates mowing and throws me a few clams to do his too). This means the mower has been loaded and unloaded into a car several times a year, as well as put through it's regular mowing paces. Despite the extra use, it took 4+ years for them to work themselves loose again.

All my batteries are still charging and operating with no noticeable difference in capacity. I always run them halfway down and store them in the basement over winter so they've never been frozen. The tools may have changed, but the old adage remains the same: take care of your tools, and they'll take care of you!

I recently inherited my uncle's 20465 MO-PAC fast freight set. I did some digging and found the 1958 catalog, and this horn isn't listed as included in the set- did he add this later, or was it automatically included and not listed? And how do I wire it up? All the YouTube videos just talk about the speaker setup in the B engines. TIA!
