Painful Taylor’s Bunion

Painful Taylor’s Bunion

This is a pic of my very painful Taylor’s Bunion. I’m 71 and have had it for quite some time. Kinda runs in my family.
In a couple of weeks I’ll have an appt with a foot and ankle surgeon for another issue with this left foot. I have a heel cyst that is my main concern. I thought I had plantar fasciitis all the time so I didn’t really mention it,
but the Podiatrist had me do an MRI and found out it was a cyst.
Anyway, I’m going to ask about doing both surgeries at the same time-possibly just scraping down the Taylor’s Bunion. I will be down anyway so I figure why not? What do you think? I’m a little worried about both actually.
Thanks so much!!

Moving Up

Ok, just took my 4th dose of 2.5 and my next pen will be here tomorrow.
So I opted for 1 more month of the 2.5 and now I’m having 2nd thoughts about it. The first 3 weeks I’ve lost 6.2 #s and just thought at my age I should give the 1st dose 2 months.
Now that I realize I should have just bit the bullet and gone up to 5. I have had zero side affects thus far.
I’m on the Bridge Program and I don’t know if I can order the increased dose early or not.
Has anyone else done that? I know my Dr. would be ok with it. She asked me if I wanted to go up at the time……. Darn it!

71F SW 223 CW 220
Fairly new to Reddit and can not figure out the Flair so I just write it out.
I am on my 2nd week and really need help getting enough protein. My water is good, but protein has been a problem.
I drink Fairlife Core Power once a day, usually have 2 eggs for breakfast, maybe some nuts with my fairlife at lunch, Mostly chicken for dinner, maybe a turkey sandwich sometimes.
I’m not very hungry most days but know I need my protein.
Let me know if you have some tips

Help with muscle cramps

Hello, I took my 1st shot of 2.5 on Monday afternoon. No really bad side effects during the day, but terrible leg (thigh, shin) and foot cramps at night. Along with getting up almost every hour for the bathroom. I just ordered some electrolytes to see if that would help. I’m drinking plenty of water. But between the getting up to use the bathroom and the cramping I got almost no sleep last night. Any other suggestions? This is the most water I’ve had to drink in a long time. Thanks!!

Newbie Question

Hi everyone, I’m starting Zepbound journey tomorrow and want to know if anyone actually keeps it a secret because friends and family may be negative about it. I am 71, and I know it’s a good thing for me, but don’t want to hear negative remarks about how dangerous it is to lose weight this way. I have been on every diet imaginable and yes, have lost and regained 100’s of pounds. Even had gastric bypass in 1999. Still over 200 lbs and in my older age this weight is really bothering me. Thanks for listening….
