Rhode Island Rob

Forget about Boston Rob, we now have the true greatest New England Robert. Rhode Island Rob made history by surviving 6 days on the island with a cut on the bottom of his foot. He risked infection, nay risked his life, to outlast, outwit, and outplay 2 whole people.

This legend is so good at Survivor, that production had to decline his brilliant strategy of voting for himself and playing Eric like a fiddle. He literally outsmarted production and forced them to interfere in tribal council in order to make it fair for everyone else.

I think it is fair to say that Boston Rob has now been replaced on the Survivor Mt Rushmore. It is now Rhode Island Rob.

Wtf even is "the open era" ?

They're saying any twists from previous seasons are now on the table....were they not on the table before? What was stopping them from using whatever twist they wanted? Just seems like Jeff Probst has lost the plot a bit with some of the shit he comes up with. When did Survivor get so corny?

Also why are they even trying to brand this as an "era" and making up a name? Normally different "eras" were just organically made up by fans. It's not like during the golden age of Survivor they were calling themselves the golden age of Survivor.

And is the New Era still called the "new era" even though it's not new anymore? It's stupid they ever called it that in the first place, it was destined to age like milk

SIB: The Blood of Dawnwalker?

I love RPGs. Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Mass Effect 1 - 3, Baldur's Gate 3, etc, are some of my favorite games of all time. However I do have somewhat high standards for these types of games to be able to get into them. Blood of Dawnwalker looks right up my alley but tbh I'm kind of worried about it being Temu Witcher 3 and I'm not 100% sure if it's worth it.

The main things I'm looking for would be a good art direction and setting, quality story and voice acting, choice and consequences, fun gameplay loop, nice combat, not too grindy.

Did they make the YouTube audio library completely unusable?

Have any of you guys noticed this? On the "creator music" tab they no longer have all of the royalty free YouTube audio library songs in the discover tab, now they are only showing revenue sharing songs.

You have to navigate to a separate page to find all the youtube audio library songs, but the problem with that is it is a massive pain in the ass to actually find good music. Before you could use the creator music page and it was way easier to find the best youtube audio library licensed songs, but now you have to use the shitty ahh youtube audio library interface.

Nothing to play (need RPG recommendations)

My ideal game is one where you have agency and freedom, and you make decisions that actually affect the story. I hate games that are basically just playable movies. I want to actually have agency in the game.

Of course I also want fun combat and a fun gameplay loop, a cool setting, a well written story, all that. Being able to create a character is a huge bonus too, but not required. I much prefer action combat over turn based, but turn based is not a complete deal breaker.

Problem is I've already played a lot of the most famous games like this. Baldur's Gate 3, Mass Effect 1 - 3, Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, etc. I love all those games, but I wanna play something new.

Any ideas?

The America broadcast for the USA vs Belgium game is hilarious

If you haven't seen the highlights with the FOX sports American broadcast, watch them. The announcers are hilarious. You can just hear the hope and optimism wash away as it goes on and turns into pure cope and then sheer defeat.

The funniest part is Romelu Lukaku's goal at the end. The guy says "oh no don't concede another....Lukaku scores 😪"

Shit is too funny

Sorry to the reasonable Americans who have enough social awareness to recognize how annoying American fans and pundits have been, but this shit was so funny. Top 5 hate watch game of all time
