Is it okay to use youtube, instagram, pinterest and such apps for inspiration when writing?

I have a question about writing in general, but also publishing. I plan to self publish, but because I'm highly against the use of generative AN at all, I wanted to talk about this anyway.

So, I use instagram, youtube, pinterest etc to get inspiration. I curate my feed on them to provide that experience for me. However, in the last couple years, these platforms made the switch to use gen AN, and it's possible that it may be in their algorithms as well, although I am not sure (I would not have an issue with them using AN that isn't generative AN). Despite knowing this, I still use these apps for inspiration. I never use chat bots or anything like that, and I'm staunchly anti generative AN.

Would any publishing houses to your knowledge consider this "AN assisted" writing? I use these apps so much, and they have influenced my mind so much because I'm on them, that I'm worried anything I write now will count as "an assisted". In the past I've also glanced at the overview on google, though now I usually use Duckduckgo.

I'm also not interested in discussing the ethics of "but it's ok for work to be an assisted" if you think that good for you, but I do not agree and I'm not interested in discussing that. I don't consider it ethical personally. I'm also asking objectively what would require the *label* of AN assisted.

Instagram's algorithm and ai

I want to know whether or not instagram's algorithm (and YouTube, Pinterest etc) and personalized feed/recommendations uses generative ai, or forms of ai that existed before the recent advances in generative ai tech. My understanding is that it's older tech than tonight have been enhanced with Gen ai being able to tag posts and recognize them, but still is not gen ai in itself.

Would it be okay to only label myself "gothic"?

Hi!

So basically, I just wanted to get a general consensus from folks.

I love the Goth subculture. I love the music, researching its history, and additionally I love gothIC fashion, aesthetics, and literature, and I'm an artist. Due to the rule about restricting discussion about the topic, I won't get into politics, but I'll say I'm generally pretty left leaning on most things. However, for specific personal reasons, and because I have not personally interacted with the subculture very much as of yet, I do not label myself as Goth. I'd much rather call myself alt and gothic/gothically inclined. But, I'm wondering if that would be generally considered appropriate, or maybe if it's best to just make it known up front I refer to myself as gothic. I am anti conformist, and am not looking for opinions on what I'm "Allowed" to do, but I want to know if it would be considered disrespectful or not, as I'm aware I come off as Goth to a lot of people, and especially with the current fetishization of Goth women (which I have felt the pressure of ...) I don't want to accidentally misrepresent the subculture. I'm aware there's not really such a thing as cultural appropriation of a subculture, but I'm still curious to hear people's views.

Thank you for reading :)
