Should I keep my Stanton or crosley?
In the past few months I happened to acquire two record players for free, a Stanton T.62 and a basic crosley suitcase one. Neither came with a power cord, so I’m trying to decide which one to buy the cord for and which to give away. I obviously know crosleys are super cheap and pretty shitty, but I also did the research and seems like Stanton’s are more for DJing and the straight arm is not ideal. I am NOT looking to buy a nicer turntable so please don’t tell me to do that!! I just want to know which one might damage my records less/which one is a better starter for me to see if I like vinyl enough to invest in a better setup. I’m far more into CDs anyways but I’ve come into a pretty decent record collection for free so I just wanna give it a bit of a trial period!
