I dropped off a happy return last Thursday. I've done it once before at this location and it all went perfectly fine. This time the guy didn't scan the barcodes and instead just manually clicked on what I had. I didn't think this was crazy until I later read it could hold up your refund, which was annoying because I had all the barcodes on the items and ready to scan. But whatever.

Now I'm concerned because it hasn't updated at all and on the retailer's side it doesn't even look like I dropped it off. I received an email from happy returns right after I dropped it off, saying it was approved. I called the location I dropped it off at today, and I said all of their returns from last week were already completed. Fortunately, I kept my receipt so I was able to give them the happy returns reference number, but then they said I'll have to come up to the store so they can look into it more. Not sure how me being physically in the location will help but I can't go until tomorrow anyhow. Has anyone had an experience or dealt with something similar to this and what was the outcome? I'm stressing out that now my stuff is just lost and I'll never get my refund.

Bro. I was at the grocery store today by the meat, and this man was looking for some particular cut of meat. There was a lady next to him who did not seem to be with him. Then suddenly I hear her say, "Well I can't have any of that. I'm allergic. I got alpha-gal a few years ago." And you could tell this dude had no freaking idea what she was talking about and she just kept yapping about it as if any of us strangers cared. I had to turn and do a double take to make sure it wasn't Emily in my town. 😭
