Accidentally left some ”photo paper” in the printer after doing a $100 print job. It’s just like some Amazon 8.5x11 card stock with a glossy finish on it, not even legitimate photo paper. My boss printed out 9 pieces of paper on it and had to take it out and print it back out on regular copy paper. Now my boss wants me to pay full RETAIL price for it. That’s already absurd, but they charge $2.50… PER PAGE. So my boss left it suspended in POS and wants me to pay for it when I come to work next, it totals to like $24. I’m in WA and I know employers can’t charge their employees for business losses like that, so they can’t even make me pay for it legally. I would be chill about it if they just wanted me to pay the wholesale cost which might be a few dollars and that would be the end of it, but this is freaking crazy and petty. If I have to fight with them over it, this might be the last straw.

We have quite a few people that drop off mass amounts of pre-labeled boxes. Some of them all coming on the same day sometimes.
Most of the time their reasoning is something along the lines of, “The driver never showed up to pick up for us.”
I mean It’s not super terrible but when you have such a tiny store with such limited space, it can make things a bit more complicated.
I’m curious to know if you guys have any of those types of customers and/or if you allow them to drop off their mass amounts of pre-labeled packages.

Is it really so difficult to have the nuclear-launch-code-worthy UPS Store Guest WiFi print out available before the new month starts? I realize Corporate is so busy with the smile promotion and ramming all these new technology fees coming our way, but come on, man!
