Second successful batch! All 6 bottles carbonated really well too! F1 was very quick, 7 days. I might’ve brewed the black tea too hot or too long so it was a bit bitter. Before it got worse I went ahead with F2. I did a strawberry pineapple lemon mint purée and let that be for 3 days. This bottle has been sitting in the fridge about a week and oh man those bubbles are good!
Idk why that title was the first thing to pop in my head… anyway, it seems like death blooms are popping up all over my neighborhood! Is it normal for a bunch to bloom at the same time!? I guess I’ve never paid attention before!
Also on person cut theirs off… anyone know if the plant will still die?

My fourth ever batch of bucha! I’ve been using a rooibos (I spelled it wrong?😑) I’ve had in my cabinet for too long. I don’t love the flavor as much as plain black tea (going to try an African brand sometime).
I’m growing strawberries at the moment to hopefully put in the F2, I’m thinking mint and pineapple as well!
