Receiving $250K NSW GOVERNMENT GRANT BUT NOT HOLDING A VALID WORKERS COMPENSATION POLICY.

Dear Aussie,

Does anyone know what can happen if a Sydney nightclub that received $250k in a government grant from the NSW Government body Sound NSW but failed to hold an active workers compensation policy for 5 years whilst trading continuously.

Like what are the legal risks?

I would've thought failing to hold a policy and trading is fraud but they need money from the Government?

Receiving a $250k NSW Gov. whilst committing workers comp fraud for the last 5 years ?

EDIT*

A SYDNEY NIGHTCLUB RECEIVED $250K IN A GOVERNMENT GRANT. THIS SAME CLUB HAD BEEN COMITTING WORKERS COMP FRAUD SINCE 2021 BY TRADING WITHOUT A COMPULSORY POLICY.

THEN SOMEONE GOT HURT AND THEY TRIED TO COVER IT UP.

THEY RECEIVED THE GRANT FUNDS WITH FULL KNOWLEDGE OF THIS.

Someone here more educated on what could happen here ?

Club 77 Cover up

No workers comp policy (fraud) > manager assaults staff > manager lies out his ass to protect visa > staff denied help and care for psychological harm due to fraud being exposed > club makes misleading statements to police to "shut up" injured worker > injured worker now completely traumatised due to cover up and mishandling.

This is very clear and very real.

Those who doubt are just causing more trauma and some are doing it on purpose such as resident DJ Reenie.

You can't make this stuff up.

29 years of history and legacy raped by some idiot from Nepal assaulting a former Keep Sydney Open candidate who actually fought for the #sydneyscene.

Keep Sydney Opens former leader Tyson Koh is extremely complicit in the matter due to his role as managing director of FBi radio and the station receiving considerable donations from Club 77. Club 77 is committing fraud and they seem to have extra cash to donate. Funny that.
