Honeymoon in Asia 🍂

Hey all 👋🏻

me and my fiancee are about to get married in October and we want to have our honeymoon somewhere in Asia. She already has been in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and India. This will be my first time in Asia.

We thought about going for a month trip to Japan or China and then two weeks in Thailand for an all inclusive hotel at the beach and maybe some shopping in Bangkok.

Because we don't want to wait a long time, we are thinking of going at the start of November but we can't decide if we should go to Japan or China.

We are foodies that love Japanese cuisine and we also love seeing gorgeous scenery like China has to offer. We know November might be a bit cold so I would like to ask about that as well.

I came here to hear some advice or more reason to choose one over the other, thank you in advance for sharing your thoughts with me 🙏🏻

Photo Face with Complications?

Hey all 👋🏻

I recently received the pixel 4 watch as a birthday gift from my gal, and I really like the photo face that can feature our photos on it. However it doesn't have any option to add complication.

She has the samsung galaxy 6 watch and has on it a face with a photo + widgets, like steps, notification etc.

Is there any good alternative for the pixel 4 watch?

Thanks 🙏🏻

Finally got my hands on the Zowie EC1-DW! A true lifesaver for big hands

I've been on the hunt for ages for a true wireless successor to my old EC1-A. As you can probably tell from the pictures, I've been a Zowie fanboy for quite some time now. Unfortunately, my local retailer stopped carrying BenQ gear a while ago, and the market for large ergo mice is honestly a desert right now.

Luckily, a buddy of mine just came back from the States and hooked me up with the new EC1-DW. Naturally, right after I finally bought it and sent it to him, I saw a post in this thread that there's an AliExpress alternative for big hands: the Darmoshark M9. If I ever run into any issues with the Zowie, I might consider picking the M9 up just to test it out.

But as for the DW itself?

Wow. It is exactly what I imagined.

Here are my main takeaways:

* Weight & Feel: It genuinely feels lighter than the wired version. It’s like the old cable was adding a ton of extra drag I didn't even realize was there.

* Plug-and-Play Excellence: I absolutely love Zowie's hardware-first approach. All the settings and controls are physical buttons directly on the mouse. No need to install any bloated third-party software on my system.

* The Coating: The finish is top-tier. It looks completely matte but still retains a really comfortable, premium smoothness in the hand.

* Tri-Mode Connectivity: This is a massive quality-of-life upgrade. It comes with three options: their enhanced "tower" receiver, a standard USB dongle, and a cable. I keep the tower hooked up to my gaming PC and the dongle in my work laptop, so I can seamlessly swap between them using the slider underneath the mouse. And, of course, you can just use it wired whenever it needs a charge.

Massive recommend if you've been starving for a large ergo shape.

Love you, BenQ.

Best AI coding agent for 3 devs?

We're a small dev team of 3 looking to integrate Al coding agents into our workflow, but we're hitting a wall with pricing and tiers.

I tested Claude Code locally and absolutely loved it, but their commercial Team plan requires a 5-seat minimum, which doesn't make sense for us.

We are currently trialing Cursor on the $40/user tier, but our team blew through the monthly agent quota in just a week.

Has anyone else in a micro-team found a good setup? What tools or setups do you recommend for heavy usage without paying for empty seats?
