Went through my phone’s photo album to create my perfume wish and found this…

This was taken in September 2022. Yes, there is an actual sticker over the price display haha…

Searched it up on MECCA and it is now $255!!

Searching online, I find different price points for this scent.

I understand prices fluctuate over the years but damn…

Yes it is another mecca price hike post, sorry.

Although if anyone knows of an edp version please let me know. I refuse to buy edt scents for edp prices.

Also found another photo of perfume from REPLICA I took numerous photos of … Sailing Day costed $215 in September 2023.

The lion, the head teacher and the scapegoat - how a fictitious and carefully constructed narrative drove me to relinquish my permanent position.

I have deliberately kept some details vague because I still fear professional repercussions.

I mainly need to vent about how easily a leadership team can construct a narrative about a teacher, then use their agreement with one another as supposed proof that the narrative must be true.

Here are the sparknotes, albeit very long.

- Was initially permanent at a school at a NSW DET school.

- I am proficiently accredited. This is important.

- Was put on an informal support plan. Went from doing well to insufficient progress.

- Was told that my teaching practices were not meeting the teaching standards, not only that but failing to uphold them. Yet other teaching staff at this school had observed my teaching without any major issues being brought to light.

- My new HT decided that I was not meeting either her or the school’s expectations, and members of the executive team gradually began repeating the same interpretation. Thus they all came to the corroborated conclusion that I was indeed failing.

- Cue the manufacture of failures despite "support". I will give you " lesson planning sessions" without the timely feedback to implement changes and given weeks later; I give you minor formatting issues on a document that had now suddenly become a deficit (e.g., line spacing); my methods of offered support to reinforce new information, e.g., cloze passages or vocabulary matches, were now issues of concern... This is despite me knowing that other teachers at this school have used the exact same activities with their senior students. However, when I employ them in my teaching practice, it now becomes evidence of my inability to provide meaningful work for students and for me to teach it well.

- Got placed on an extremely short “informal support” process. I was expected to demonstrate immediate improvement across numerous areas, from lesson sequencing and differentiation to feedback, behaviour management and pacing. Most of which I have a handle on but am able to further develop in my practice. However looking back it is a gtfo plan or we will get rid of your teaching career plan.

- Having me address one concern led to another one being brought up. My improvements were minor and seldom acknowledged.

- Despite several lessons being covered in my absence, due to these meetings btw, my first lesson back with that class was selected for observation. My feedback? Spent too long reinforcing and covering previous material. That was their evidence of my inability to pace my lessons.

- Steadily I move toward the targeted goals, and then they move. Typical.

- My serious behaviour issues? The ones where my HT needed exec permission to move the student away from my class? Yeah, that got brought up as a consequence of my behaviour management issues. One which I am still horrified by.

- The class participating in wild behaviours that were disruptive to the point I required back-up? Also ineffective behaviour management...

- My need for support? Downplayed. “At this point in your career, you should be ready to go in the classroom without any issues!” This is clearly a you problem, teach. Mind you, I had not even taught full-time consistently throughout my career...and they know this.

- HT unprofessionalisms? Check. Having meetings about my progress in the staffroom with other teachers? Check. Having other staff find out because of this? Check. Withholding information from me , so that I can address the duties requiring me to do my job? Check. Use the fact I do not stay back late after school hours to guilt trip me? Check.

By the time I caught on that my asking for help or support while at this school was actually creating a paper trail? I was done for. Realised too late? Check.

And boom goes my mental and physical health. Boom goes my credibility. And boom goes my trust for the establishment. Check.

I feel empty, exhausted and broken after all this.

But hey local schools, local choices right?

Very confused with bra sizing and fit. 29F. How do I know if I am buying the right bras?

Hi everyone
I am very much confused about my bra size. I live in Aus and have gotten myself measured over the years at bra stores and have gotten 14 B (36B) , 16 B (38 B) and am honestly sick of wasting money on buying bras that are ill fitting and feel uncomfortable.

Either my bra cups ride up, the band rides up , the cups leave a dent on me after a long day or have to use a bra extender which results in the cups being fairly loose.

So far 16 B feels right maybe 75-80% but closer to 75%. Sometimes the cups feel slightly loose and as a result I have to tighten the straps.

I do have a bra that feels ok in a 14 B but is only comfortable for a few hours.

Another 14 B bra I wear gives me uniboob or a boob tube look while wearing a turtle neck as well.

I have used the calculator and will insert my measurements

Loose underbust 34 in
Snug underbust 33 in
Tight underbust 31 in
Standing bust 36 in
Leaning bust 38 in
Lying bust 36 in

Please help a sister and my sisters out!!
Perhaps one day i can have a custom made bra for me because I feel really bad about myself I cant find a good fitting bra.

Update : read more into the wiki and have wide set breasts.
