Looking to review GS Statements (Approved/Rejected) for peace of mind | Master’s Applicant (RMIT)

Hey everyone,

I lodged my student visa (Subclass 500) file on June 4th, and it is currently sitting under "Received" status. I’m heading to RMIT University for a Master’s in Electrical and Electronic Engineering for the upcoming July intake.

Lately, I’ve been reading a lot of the posts on here about visa rejections—even from applicants with G8 offers and seemingly solid profiles. Honestly, it’s starting to make me incredibly nervous while I sit in this waiting pattern.

For the sake of my own peace of mind, I would love to review other applicants' GS (Genuine Student) statements, regardless of whether your visa was approved or rejected. I just want to analyze how others have structured their arguments, addressed their career progression.

To give you some context on my own background, I feel my profile is quite solid on paper, which is why the recent rejection trends are throwing me off:

Academics: Continuous 6-year background in Electrical Engineering (technical Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree), maintaining a strong 8+ CGPA in both.

Finances: I have ₹40 Lakh (59,000 Aud) in Fixed Deposits in my own bank account, backed further by a ₹40 Lakh SBI education loan, and around ₹90 Lakh (135,500 Aud) in my father's government pension account.

Despite the strong academic continuity and clear financial trail, the anxiety of waiting is real.

If anyone is willing to share what they wrote in their GS statement—either by commenting below or Messaging me directly—I would deeply appreciate it. It would tremendously help me.

Looking forward to connecting with fellow applicants. Thank you, and good luck to everyone waiting on their grants!.
